Ceramic Coatings

Liquid Glass. Literally.

What is a Ceramic Coating?

Think of a layer of glass that acts as a suit of armor for your paint.

These coatings are becoming an increasingly popular form of paint protection that keeps your paint looking, feeling, and being clean- for longer. The best part? This technology is available for your car or truck today.

  • Ceramic coatings are essentially a layer of liquid glass that covers the paint and protects it for years on end- anywhere between 1-7 years depending on the brand.

  • A big selling point on these coatings are that they are hydrophobic. This means water falls off very easily, making water spots occur much less.

  • Like a wax, ceramic coatings add an insane amount of gloss to any paintjob- usually bringing out sparkles and flakes in paint.

2 Year Ceramic Coating

CarPro, the company responsible for the beginning of ceramic coatings, has a great Coating known for its insane gloss. The CarPro CQuartz UK 3.0 is their signature coating, made for vehicles to deal with the extreme temperature differences throughout the year. A 2 Layer coating which isn’t the most smooth compared to other coatings- we highly recommend adding a sealant to the top of this coating to really seal in the gloss it produces.

Please Note

Ceramic Coatings require at LEAST:

Clay Bar

Polish

Wash and Detail

We will not provide a high end service for a vehicle that does not get at least the bare minimum- ceramic coatings will never make a difference on paint that is not already perfect.
